GRONDA to Refurbish Residential Building in London’s Exclusive Mayfair

GRONDA has been commissioned to breathe new life into an iconic 1930s building on prestigious Park Lane in London’s exclusive Mayfair neighborhood. The scope includes the exterior refurbishment and interior design of four penthouses on the sixth and seventh floors of an inter-war mansion covering an entire block and overlooking Hyde Park. GRONDA is redefining the two lobby entrances, including the exterior canopies and the two ground floor lobbies which will feature Italian travertino marbles as well as French limestones combined with Venetian plasters. In addition, GRONDA is refurbishing all of the building’s public areas.

GRONDA is also creating a bespoke penthouse apartment on the seventh floor with breathtaking views of the park. The apartment will feature a wine cellar, music room, italian kitchen, and three bedroom suites. GRONDA’s design celebrates the building’s art deco heritage. Venetian plasters, natural marbles, silk carpets and artistic brass reliefs will create an elegant, sober and timeless atmosphere. Flooring throughout the apartment will consist of natural woods and marbles. Modern and contemporary art will be prominently featured throughout the apartment, including a signature sculpture on the terrace overlooking Hyde Park.
